Celebrating the Birth (Milaad) of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) has become an annual celebration that many people have spoken in favor.
One of the many arguments for the Milaad celebration is the following verse of the Qur’an;
وَٱلسَّلَـٰمُ عَلَیَّ یَوۡمَ وُلِدتُّ وَیَوۡمَ أَمُوتُ وَیَوۡمَ أُبۡعَثُ حَیࣰّا
“And peace is on me the day I was born and the day I will die and the day I am raised alive.” (19:33)
We often send peace on the Prophets after taking their name, in particular after the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), so yes the days of Prophets birth can be taken as days of peace, as this was the day on which Allah granted the various nations a Messenger calling them to peace; meaning calling them to the religion of peace, known as Islam.
So, it is therefore on this note we have decided to take the advantage of this glorious celebration day to spread the good news of Islam and also to celebrate our fellow lovers of Islam which have been part part of the development in our great, DAIRAT ASIBUNALLAHU AL- KAREEMIYAT, LI – FAEDOT IBRAHEMMITAT
AT TIJANIYYAT.

This great event is Often organized annually with the aims and objectives of propagating the praise of our beloved Prophet.
We usually celebrated Mawlid in a carnival manner, large numbers of praises are rendered to celebrate our great Prophet, even our mosques are decorated. Charity and food is distributed, and stories about the life of Muhammad are narrated with recitation of poetry by children.
And above all it is also a medium to hear our sought after Islam clergymen, to enlighten us on the importance of serving Allah.

So, as a true Muslim, necessity is laid on you and me to be a good ambassador of Islam.
And we must all acknowledge that everything we got is from Almighty Allah, I mean our totality.
