The Ojora Royal Family, in collaboration with monarchs and traditional leaders across Lagos State, observed the third-day Fidā’u prayer in honour of the late Otunba Adekunle Isiak Ojora, a respected son of the soil.
The special Islamic prayer session was held in accordance with Islamic rites, seeking Allah’s mercy, forgiveness, and eternal rest for the departed soul. The prayer was led by Imam Faro Ojora, the Chief Imam of Ijora and Iganmu Kingdom, alongside other Islamic clerics.
In his sermon, Imam Faro Ojora reminded the congregation that death is a divine decree and encouraged all present to remain steadfast in faith. He expressed hope that the late Otunba Adekunle Isiak Ojora is at peace, judging by the testimonies of goodwill, unity, and prayers witnessed since his passing. The Imam further admonished family members, community leaders, and youths to emulate the noble character, generosity, and positive legacy left behind by the deceased.
The prayer session concluded with supplications for Allah (SWT) to grant the late Otunba Al-Jannah Firdaus and to comfort the Ojora Royal Family and the entire Ijora and Iganmu Kingdom.
