Hon. Prince Ayodeji Adebayo Joseph**, born on May 23, 1973, into the esteemed Ojora Royal Family of Lagos, is a distinguished Lagocian whose contributions as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Lagos State Development and Property Corporation (LSDPC) have left an indelible mark on the state.
Prince Ayodeji's formative years were spent at the Federal Government College, Ido Ani, Ondo State. He then pursued higher education at Lagos State University (LASU), where he graduated with a degree in Geography and Planning. His quest for knowledge continued at the University of Lagos, Akoka, where he earned a master's certificate in 2002.
Before his current role at LSDPC, Prince Ayodeji had a successful career in the banking sector as a Senior Banking Officer at Guaranty Trust Bank Plc. His leadership skills were further honed during his tenure as a two-term Executive Chairman of Apapa Local Government. Additionally, he served as a member of the Federal House of Representatives (MHR) and as a Special Assistant at the Office of the Speaker, House of Representatives, Abuja.
Since assuming the position of MD/CEO of LSDPC, Prince Ayodeji has transformed the organization, driving significant developments in urban renewal and housing projects across Lagos State. His leadership is characterized by:
- Urban Renewal and Housing Development: Overseeing the revitalization of neglected areas and enhancing living standards through the construction of affordable housing units.
- Public-Private Partnerships (PPP): Facilitating partnerships with private sector investors to develop mixed-use projects, thereby attracting significant investment into the state's property market.
