“When parents bring you into this world, it becomes your responsibility to renew yourself positively.” This sentiment reflects the pride expressed by Oba FAO AROMIRE, the Ojora of Ijora and Iganmu Kingdom, and Oba Abdul Wasiu Omo Gbolahan Lawal, the Oniru of Iru Kingdom, as they celebrated the elevation of their beloved daughter to the position of Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly.
Their joy knows no bounds as they commend her outstanding achievement, becoming the first female speaker in the history of the Lagos State House of Assembly. Both monarchs extended their heartfelt congratulations and best wishes, encouraging her to lead the legislative arm of Lagos State to new heights of success.
During the courtesy visit, both Kabiyesis expressed their appreciation to the entire Lagos State House of Assembly for recognizing and selecting their princess for this prestigious role. They urged her to continually represent the interests of the state government and to remember her roots as the daughter of Ijora and Iru Kingdoms.
