Engr. Olatunbosun Olanrewaju Paul Talabi: A Legacy of Generosity and Service.

Engr. Olatunbosun Olanrewaju Paul Talabi was born in sixties in Apapa, Lagos, Nigeria, into a family with a rich lineage in civil engineering. His early education at Ladilak Primary School and later Apapa High School laid the foundation for his academic journey. Inspired by his father’s profession, he pursued studies in building construction, eventually obtaining degrees from London guildhall University , South East London College, and South Bank University in London. Talabi’s upbringing instilled in him a strong sense of philanthropy, influenced by his father who also serves as one of the co foundation member of Waka club at campus Lagos island.
He was the life president of Waka club.
He passed on 26 of December 2005.

 


Who also was a close relationship with Chief Awolowo and his quote which says the children you failed to train today will be the problem to your own children tomorrow.
Emphasizing the importance of education for future generations. This ethos drove him to actively engage in charitable endeavors, becoming known for his generous nature and dedication to uplifting the less privileged in his community. Serving as Chairman of the Community Development Association (CDA), he played a pivotal role in community development projects and contributed to various charitable causes.

Central to Engr. Talabi’s philosophy is the belief in the transformative power of education, as reflected in Awolowo’s quote. He has five children and has traveled extensively, broadening his perspective and enriching his experiences. Talabi’s legacy is characterized by his unwavering commitment to his community, embodying values of generosity, education, and service. Through his actions, he leaves behind a lasting impact, inspiring others to follow in his footsteps and make a difference in the lives of those around them.
