- In every company, there are people who come to buy goods, they are called Customers, they come, pay for what they want, collect and go.
We have people like that in Church. They come expecting to get something from the Lord, Jesus Christ and are willing to pay for it and go. - In every company we have those who are called the staff, they earn their living there and keep the company going. There are low staff, the cleaners and messengers, without these people, the company will not be neat.
The staff are in categories, cleaners, messengers, cashiers, accountants, managers, senior managers etc. Those who are called the staff, their very life depends on the company because they earn a living there. - There is another group called the partners. They partner with the company
- There are two categories of partners;
– The senior partner, and – One or two Junior partners
The senior partner is the chairman, the big boss, he owns the company but he shares certain things with the Junior partners.
Partnership is the idea of God Himself. He is interested in partnership. He is the Almighty, He can do anything.
Genesis 2;19-20 – He called Adam to be His partner to name the animals. Adam was the first partner of God.
Exodus 3:7-12- He called Moses to be His partner, He asked Moses to go and bring His people out of Egypt.
Isaiah 6:1-8 – God is still saying who shall I send, who will go for us, up till now. God is still looking for partners.
Ezekiel 22:29-31 – When God looked down on a nation and He saw corruption, banditry and all kinds of evil, He said He is looking for a man who would stand before Him but He found none. He is looking for someone who will stand in the gap.
Why does the Almighty God need a partner? Psalm 115:3, He is sovereign, He can do as He likes.
Exodus 33:18-23
If He wants to call somebody out of danger to be saved, He won’t come directly, He will come through someday. 1 Kings 19:11-12 – He speaks in a still small voice and very few can hear Him. If He speaks in a small voice and people don’t hear Him and If He raises His voice, people will think it’s thunder, John 12:28-29, Exodus 20:18-19.
The Senior Partner
The Senior Partner is the owner and has absolute control of everything that he wants done. Whatever the Junior partner does must be done in the name of the Senior partner.
The Junior partner cannot dictate to the Senior partner. Mark 16:17, 1 Samuel 17:42-51, Acts 19:11-17.
The Junior partner must be subject to the Senior Partner. If you must be His partner, you must be subject to Him. Luke 7:2-10. You must be ready to be subject to His authority and you must not argue with Him, whatever He says do, you do.
What are the things you will get if you are subject to the Senior Partner? Luke 22:42 (Not your will but thine will be done)
The moment you know this, your Christian life will be enjoyable. And you must know He is your Senior Partner.
The Senior Partner performs certain things for the Junior Partner.
1. He provides for the Junior Partner using whatever method that pleases Him.
1 Kings 17:2-17 – He used Bird/Ravens to provide for Elijah. Ird love bread and ravens love meat but they never tampered with the food sent to Elijah.
Prayer
May your blessings never miss road. Amen
When the brook dried up, He sent Elijah to a widow
Prophesy
The Lord asked to tell someone, you won’t faint again. Amen
2. He Protects. Isaiah 53:15-17 – He made a promise to His partners, He said He will deal with all those that gather against His partner and He said no weapon fashioned against His partner shall prosper. Psalm 20:7-8
Prayer
Anybody chanting any form of incantations against you, the calabash will break. Amen
3. He depends. 2 Kings 1:9-12 – when some people came to arrest Elijah, God gave them a taste of the fire.
Prophesy
Hosanah in the Highest, Hosanah in the highest, my family is singing Hosannah in the highest. Within the next one month, your family will sing that song. Amen
2 Kings 6:8-17 – when you become His partner, whereber you go, His bodyguard will go with you.
4. He Equips them. Mark 3:13-15, Acts 1:8. He will equip you for your assignment. Everything you need for your assignment God will give you you. Philippians 4:14
5. The Senior partner support the Junior partner. He backs you up.
Prophesy
Daddy ask me to tell His children, He said where sorrow used to reign supreme, He said, Joy unspeakable will take its place. Amen
Exodus 3:11-12,
1 Samuel 17:34-37, Mathew 28:18-20, Hebrews 13:5 –
6. He will never leave or forsake you if you are His partner.
Mark 10:28-30 – you can’t trade with God and lose. His company can’t close down. The success of His company does not have anything to do with the economy of the world.
7. He will honour His partners. 1 Samuel 2:30.
Prophesy
Numbers 12:5-8
God asked.me to tell someone that as Moses is unique among the prophets, so will you be among His Ministers. Amen
One way God honours His partners is that He will personally introduce them to His Father.
Mathew 10:32.
He honours them by promoting them among all members of staff. Exodus 7:1, 1 Kings 17:1
The Role of the Junior Partner.
1. You must agree with your Senior Partner. Amos 3:3.
2. Agreeing will make it easy for you to Obey Him totally. John 15:14-15
3. Once you decide to be His partner, there must be no looking back. Luke 9:57-62, Hebrews 10:38.
4. You must be 100% Faithful to Him.
1 Corinthians 4:2.
You must be trustworthy. If you are faithful to Him, you will listen to Him and do what He asked you to do.
5. You are supposed to be faithful to the end. Revelation 2:10.
6. You must be willing to endure hardness.
2 Timothy 2:3. You must be tough like soldiers of Christ. As His partner, there must be a time you cannot sleep but pray.
7. You must be willing to pay any price. 2 Corinthians 12:15, spend and be spent, Acts 21:10-14.
Partners are a select group of people. Not just anybody, they are specially selected. Mark 3:13-15
Prophesy
The Lord asked me to tell a woman here who they say cannot give birth, He said that nine months from now, you will show them your baby.
John 15:16, Mathew 22:14.
How can I have the honour of being chosen?
– Acts 10:34-35. He that fears God and love righteousness is accepted by Him.
– 1 Samuel 2:30 – Be willing to honour Him. Honour Him with your first fruit.
– Be willing to be a fool for His sake. 1 Corinthians 1:26-29. The people that God will choose are the people that will let go of their position or their brilliance.
Fire is involved in preparing whoever will be His partner. Before He began to talk to Moses, there was fire on the mountain.
Before people really knew who Elijah was, on mount camel the fire fell.
Isaiah 6:1-8 – Before He could say who will I send or who will go for me, He needs to use fire to touch the mouth of Isaiah. After the fire touched Isaiah’s lips, he became such a powerful prophet to prophesy things that will happen, they knew that whatever he said came to pass.
Before the fire can fall on you, you need to be sure of your salvation.
When fire comes in contact with anything, it changes that thing to itself, whatever refuses to change to fire becomes ashes.
You cannot be a partner of God unless you are thoroughly born again. If you are ready for a new life not as a customer or staff but as a partner of the consuming fire, you must be born again and your salvation must be thorough. You must be born again to the extent that you don’t have anything to do with sin anymore. If you want to surrender your life to Jesus Christ, come now.
Ask Him to save your soul and have mercy on you, ask Him to forgive you and wash you clean by His blood, tell Him that you will never go back to your sin again and ask Him to accept you as His son.
